U-turn: damage and escape
U-turn is a Bug-type move that deals damage and immediately switches the user out. With Adaptability, U-turn hits at ×2 STAB. This lets Mega Beedrill deal massive damage and then safely leave the field, bringing in a teammate without being hit by a counter-attack. It’s one of the most efficient moves in doubles.
The fragility problem
Despite its incredible offensive stats, Mega Beedrill has very low bulk (65/40/80 defensive stats).
